Meet the 2025 Rho Gammas

Rho Gammas are Panhellenic members who temporarily "disaffiliate" from their chapter to provide a non-biased and non-discriminatory recruitment experience for every potential new member! Before the first day of recruitment, you will be assigned to a Rho Gamma along with a group of 10-20 other PNMs who will guide you through the recruitment process. Each Rho Gamma was selected through an intense application and selection process and is your go-to for any questions you may have along the way. Don't worry, we know recruitment sounds intense, but they were once in your shoes and can provide you any and all advice you might need!

Major: Data Science and Statistics & French

Year: Junior

Hi! My name is Virginia but everyone calls me Ginni. I am sophomore Data Science and Statistics major with a double major in French. I grew up in New Orleans and I went to a bilingual French school up until middle school, so I speak somewhat fluently. Coming from Louisiana, there’s a different culture there so adjusting to life at UCSB was difficult the first few months. However, I met wonderful girls across many chapters in my dorm (FT!!) that helped me feel at home. I even brought a few to mardis gras and we had a blast! My favorite part of Greek life here is that since it’s somewhat smaller, you get a chance to expand your friendships across all chapters. It’s safe to say, I have people I can rely on, not only in my house, but in a majority of sororities here. Some cool facts about me is that I have ducks and chickens back home and I am trying to get good at scrapbooking. Since I’ve fallen in love with my community here, I am trying to ensure nothing is forgotten at my time at UCSB so I feel scrapbooking is such a good way to look back at the memories I’ve made with my panhel sisters!
