Meet the 2023 Rho Gammas

Rho Gammas are Panhellenic members who temporarily "disaffiliate" from their chapter to provide a non-biased and non-discriminatory recruitment experience for every potential new member! Before the first day of recruitment, you will be assigned to a Rho Gamma along with a group of 10-20 other PNMs who will guide you through the recruitment process. Each Rho Gamma was selected through an intense application and selection process and is your go-to for any questions you may have along the way. Don't worry, we know recruitment sounds intense, but they were once in your shoes and can provide you any and all advice you might need!

Hi everyone! My name is Aimee and I’m entering my 4th year as a Political Science major and a Feminist Studies minor, and I’m from San Jose, CA! When I joined the Panhellenic community my freshman year I had no idea what I was getting into, but now as a 4th year I can confidently say I do not regret my decision at all! Panhellenic has shown me the most amazing and uplifting community of women I’ve always dreamed of, and has opened up so many opportunities for me to grow and develop both my personal and professional life. I am so excited to meet everyone this Fall and help you all meet the people you will call your family for years to come!!

Hi everyone! My name is Alyssa Cutroneo and I am an incoming third year Economics and Accounting major from Kent Island, Maryland! Joining greek life during my time at UCSB was one of the best decisions I could have made, and has contributed to making Santa Barbara feel like a home away from home for me. I have met girls who never fail to be by my side through everything, and I feel so supported in such a close knit community. In my free time, I love to go on sunset walks by the beach, go to the gym, binge reality TV shows, and go downtown for a fun dinner with my friends! I have loved my time in greek life so far, and I am so excited to be a Rho Gam and help you find your home in the Panhellenic community!

Hey everyone! I am a 3rd year PBS and Communication Double Major from Phoenix, Arizona. When I came to UCSB I didn't know anyone and was nervous that being an out of state student would make it hard to meet friends and find my people. I decided to go through recruitment even though I didn't know much about greek life and ended up loving it! Joining greek life was the best decision and I am so fortunate for all of the amazing friends that my organization has introduced me too and all of the amazing experiences that I have had. I love UCSB and feel so fortunate to go to such an amazing school!
